I notice that the RN appears now to be adopting the word ‘practise’. Could be part of 1SL’s program for closer co-operation with our neighbors, which seems to be happening real soon. Good grief.
It’s a little better than the love boat nonsense that the Navy normally come up with, but it’s still a film about cooking stew, parking and unparking a few helicopters, and a bird watching a bloke unscrewing a nut. It’s not really going to strike fear into the heart of some spotty Birmingham teenager who might want to join IS in Syria, or might not and instead get some new trainers.
If that’s what the modern Navy is about, as a taxpayer I want a refund.
