The article says Illustrious is carrying seven helos (3 Sea Kings, 3 Lynx, 1 Merlin), but I thought she was deployed with 2-3 Apaches as well, obviously they would be no use for this operation, but have they been flown off?
It’s a pity Daring was not carrying two Lynx, as I think either Dauntless or Diamond has been deployed with two. How many RIBs would a T45 have?
