This is a video of the 30mm Viper Gun System from Noble, featuring the ATK 30mm M230LF cannon, a link feed derivative of the M23o chain gun as used on the Apache helicopter.
It is a serious firepower uplift from a .50cal Heavy Machine Gun and features on the Ranger vehicle from Universal Engineering.

The ASP-30 autocannon has been marketed for the same cartridge for many years and had no real success.
This ammunition has the disadvantage that its only AT cartridge is a 30mm shaped charge one. That’s enough to pierce naked BTR and BMP with little effect, but quite flimsy against almost everything else.
I dont think they will sell many of these either, but it looks like fun!
Does it matter that a gun mounted to a WMIK cant effectivly combat MBT’s?
