    In BC, Canada a jet was brought down by a sparrow or starling sized bird which was ingested into the jet engine. With this in mind I was wondering about the effectiveness of developing a defensive missile head which would explode in the path of the attacking jets and disperse a slow sinking abrasive cloud which the jets would fly through and disable their engines. Something that would act like dandelion fluff with tungsten hardness. Shredded glass or kevlar fibres impregnated with tungsten powder may do the trick
