Two companies from 40 Commando Royal Marines conducted a Commando assault on to the Albanian peninsular of Kepi Pallet as part of Exercise Albanian Lion 14. The Marines landed on to beaches from Landing Craft Utility (LCU) under the cover of darkness. They then cleared fortified enemy positions using Viking (BVS10) vehicles to provide protection and covering fire until the opposing threat was neutralised
