RAF TRANSPORT AID TO EARTHQUAKE REGION

A RAF C-17 transport aircraft, normally based at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire is loaded with United Nations Humanitarian Aid at the Danish airport of Billund ready for its onward flight to Banda Aceh, scene of some of the worst devastation . The 60 tonne load comprising of food water purification equipment, shelter, building materials and vehicles that will be used by the UN during their rescue and relief operations.
