First launched in 2003, The Operational Utility Vehicle System (OUVS) programme is the procurement programme which will replace the RB44, Pinzgauer and Landrover capability. It will, therefore, provide the “backbone” of the Army’s fighting vehicles, just as the current fleet have done so for decades.
