Combat Experience in the Falklands Conflict

Another lunchtime lecture from the National Army Museum on Combat Experience in the Falklands War (Conflict)

Recorded on 17 May 2012

Peter Johnston, Assistant Lecturer in History at the University of Kent, discusses the contrasting and complex combat experience of the British servicemen in the Falklands War (1982).

These lunchtime lectures from the NAM are really great.

As an Assistant Lecturer at a university, he could do with some coaching in his oral delivery. Rather staccato style, with some words truncated or mis-read: could have been an undergraduate or OCdt not used to giving presentations. Or do the young all talk like this, and understand each other?

Assistant Lecturer. Not lecturer. One of the many PhDs the HE sector enslave for as long as they can I imagine.
