Similar to the DS30 with the Thales LMM; just on a smaller scale.

I have seen a mock up with x2 LMM missiles instead of the 2.75″.

As a CIWS replacement, I reckon 70mm or larger projectiles with beamriding guidance would offer far higher rates of fire than Phalanx

The semi-active laser guidance would be great for designation by Apache or Wildcat.

With that in mind, possibilities of remote controlled RIB’s operated by Merlin or Wildcat crews, loaded with Hydra’s?

Could be fixed to Scimitar or Sabre in Gibraltar in order to make them a bit more potent. More of a threat to any Spanish vessels deciding to illegally enter territorial waters!
