You can take your sleek super yachts or 50 knots littoral combat ships and put them you know where seriously, how cool is this?
It is designed to meet the needs of the offshore wind industry but it has many features that lend itself to military service, I especially like the ease of handling and of course, modularity.
Although seemingly an unremarkable workboat, from about 4 minutes on, the video shows the modular payload and moveable wheelhouse in action.
MSI Defence have also developed the SIGMA which is a remote controlled system that mounts a 30mm ATK Bushmaster cannon and a 7 cell launcher for the Thales Lightweight Multirole Missile. It is a compact, relatively low cost mount, already in service (in its basic form without missiles) with the Royal Navy and appropriate in terms of firepower.
Fit one of these, an extended crew pod, extra fuel, communications and maybe a few Dynema armoured panels and it would be an effective small combat vessel.
Want more you say, OK, how about from the very same company a Gucci amphibian boat truck thing that actually works.
Game over!
That’s 11 on the awesome scale, a close tie with this.

whilst this post is awesome, it will be never as awesome as this …

You know I never knew this company even existed.
The reason why that’s surprising is because, if you watch that last video you’ll see some very swanky seaside flat complexes in the background. Behind them about a hundred yards is a far less swanky row of terraced houses, from inside one of which this post is being typed!
I wonder how much BAE would charge for one of those…
Could the ATMP have a similar skirt fitted? It can already fit outboard motors but usualy has some ungainly floatation bags either side; the boat skirt would be a lot more elegant.
Do want! Archer class replacement and a slightly bigger version for MCM.
Like the SIGMA, wonder is you can mix LMM and MBDA Mistral missiles? 2 or more would be a good addition to a T26 lite.
