The newly published National Security Strategy has only just bee released so any analysis, before the SDSR tomorrow, is going to be limited.

    And, when you add a piece of paper on the far side beyond the midden and the windmill, this word cloud is what you get. Note the pretty much complete absence of any military, economic, international-relations, or law enforcement terminology: to say anything specific means you have a harder time weaseling out of it. I’ve had some pretty powerful grudges against the Tory right for, well, my whole life that I can remember. But right know I’d wish them sharp knives and good hunting.

    :-)

    Fair comment (and you’re definitely my favourite son of theirs. It’s one of the pleasures of this place that that sort of thing’s possible.) And if you can rid us all of these turbulent PR men, you can drink on my tab till closing time. And since I’m no particular fan of the post-Bobby Moore Hammers (I go nearly that far back) Milwall can go about its business in peace. Us Bristol Rovers fans have our own issues (although I supppose I’m an iconoclast there too, because it would be fine if City could be arsed to get itself into the Premiership just for the sake of civic pride.)
