QinetiQ PASCAT

When I last looked at the PASCAT it was still in construction but here it is on trial.

The FDR littoral series of posts is summarised below;

Part 1 – Introduction

Part 2 – Hover and Raiding Craft

Part 3 – Fires and Support Craft

Part 4 – The C3

Part 5 – Ship to Shore

    0_o Certainly seems to be able to move at some rate of knots I wonder what impact it’s speed will take when loaded up with equipment and after a few years in service.

    Thanks for the video and links to the FDR Littoral series of posts :)

    Especially as they seem to be thinking about giving up certain capabilities and the amphibious role being one such capability. Sell off the Albion and Bay class, transfer the Marines to the Army. No need to replace Ocean. Nice little short-term saving. Massive loss of skill and cpability, but heck, that’ll be someone else’s problem!!!
